Rule 1
Paper over promises
If a collector says it on the phone, we ask for it in writing. Every agreement we reach for you is signed before money moves.
Dirty Debt started with a simple observation. A lot of the debt being collected in this country is badly documented, and almost nobody asks for the documents.
Accounts get bought and sold in spreadsheets with thousands of rows. Signed contracts go missing. Balances grow with fees nobody can explain. Then a collector calls, sounds confident, and most people pay.
We built our process around asking the questions the law lets you ask, in writing, on a deadline. Our letter system tracks every account, every mailing date and every response window, so a missed deadline on their side becomes leverage on yours.
We work with people in all 50 states, mostly with credit card, medical, personal loan and old utility debt.
Rule 1

Rule 2
You get a copy of every letter we send and every reply we receive, in your client file, the day it happens.
Rule 3
We quote the price before you sign. Settlement fees are charged only after a settlement is reached and paid on.
A law firm. If you’ve been sued, we’ll tell you so and point you to a consumer attorney in your state.
A loan company. We don’t consolidate your debt into a new loan.
A quick fix. Most cases take months, because the law gives each side time to respond.
